Creativity

Today's "me" thing was one of those bigger things that require registration, scheduling a babysitter, planning, etc.  But it was worth it.

Creativity
Our town has a wonderful garden and educational center called Reiman Gardens.  I joined as a member when I moved here because they have a beautiful interactive butterfly garden that my son loves.  As a member, I get regular e-mails about their class offerings and I attended a very cool one with my son about butterflies after dark.  What I hadn't ever done was attend one alone.  When an offering called Introspective Writing was offered I jumped at it.  I looked forward to it for a month and now every Tuesday in January I get to spend the evening with five other women and our wonderful instructor writing.   Tonight we free wrote for what seemed like a few seconds but was really a more substantial period of time about a virtue card that we drew from a deck (see the virtues or order the deck here).  I drew Creativity.  As soon as I saw it I smiled.  That is what I have been looking for (and have been finding) lately.  It sort of pulled it all together for me.  I wrote a lot about the card and I expect more will come up here throughout the year.

But tonight's post is about finding something that interests me, scheduling a babysitter, and spending a couple of hours learning something new, something about yourself, or both.  Such a valuable experience!  What do you want to learn?  Where can you find out more about it?
